The goal is development of New Media and Citizen Media in Armenia.

The objectives are:

• Facilitating interaction, sharing experience, know-how and forging working relationships for more then 200 new media activists, specialists of IT sphere, companies and organizations interested in media, internet and new technologies, journalists from Armenia.
• By providing travel-grants for international participants, bring also the international dimension to the un-conference and showing the Armenian participants the global opportunities and experience as well.
• Introducing new media activists to modern trends and technologies in citizen media, blogging, social networking, online advocacy.
• Promoting new media projects in Armenia, possibly helping them find commercial and non-commercial sponsors, volunteers and supporters.
